HEAVY Oil Usage????

I have a '94 powerstroke, and unfortunatley, the dishonest person that traded it in where I bought it screwed my eyes out! I am going through over a gallon of oil in 1/2 tank of diesel fuel! I have had the turbo checked, the cylinders' compression checked, injector seals checked, all of the oil leaks stopped with new gaskets (including the main that required the tranny to be pulled) and its still eating oil like candy. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try next?

Using that much oil has to have some indication of where it's going.
Is it leaking onto the ground? Look into the valley of the engine for oil puddles.
Does the truck smoke out of exhaust?
