I have a friend with a 2001 Excursion it's a 7.3, 4x4. It needs a transmission. He has a friend with a 2004 transmission out of a 4x4 diesel(not sure if it was F250 F350 or Excursion). Question is will it work behind the 7.3 in the excursion?

 

No, that trans is different then our 4r100 on the 7.3. Will not fit the bolt pattern. He needs a trans from another 7.3. He can have his rebuilt.
