throttle body spacers

do they work? looking at putting(maybe making one) into a 351 and/or 300 6.

On carburated motors, yes.

What do u mean on carb motors that makes no sense it's a throttle body spacer that's fuel injection

This comes up ALL the time here, if you do a search you'll find posts where it's explained in detail why these things are a complete waste of money on a multipoint tuned port EFI motor.

A phenolic spacer between the 2 piece intake will help keep the heat from the engine from soaking to the top section, giving a denser air intake charge that gives you a little more power. But those Air Raid spacers on the throttle bodies wouldn`t do anything on a port fuel injected engine because the fuel is injected so close to the intake valve that it wouldn`t have any effect. On the old throttle bodies that inject from the throttle body it is supposed to work but I dont have any 1st hand experience w/those.
