Anyone replace front wheel bearing..??
My wife's '97 Expy is making some loud noises at highway speeds. I told her to first get the wheels rebalanced and we will revisit the issue but I think at 150k it may be the wheels bearings starting to sing.
Has anyone ever replaced the front wheel bearings on their 4X4 Expy? How difficult? I am assuming they need pressed in/out?

It's not a bearing that gets replaced, it's the entire hub. Basically, you have to remove the caliper, rotor, axle nut, and the 3 bolts holding the hub to the steering knuckle. No pressing is involved.
