actually hockey pucks work great. i have to laugh at the guy with 6 inch body lift this dis' them. one hockey puck all around works great when putting 69 body on 79 f-250 frame. need the one inch to clear steering ****. and btw 6 inch body lift hows the dents and paint between your cab and box. lol
Ok first off if you look at the truck in my sig its to make fun of all the retarded stuff people do. If you knew anything youd realize what a ttb is and that they havent been used since the late 90s (thank god). Secondly a cab does not weigh 1500 lbs. Two grown men can pick up a cab and carry it around. Ive done it several times.
Hockey pucks were not made to be used on trucks. Would you take a drive shaft out on the ice and use it as a hockey stick?

that is riduculous funny that you are stpuid enough to say that. think of everthing aftermarket put on a vehicle that is not meant to be in it. you have a lift kit dont you? not meant to be in it. nitrous? is that meant to be in a vehicle. dvd player? isnt that supposed to be in the loiving room. anything aftermarket is not meant to be in it but we do anyways. i competely support the othe guy on its just a hard piece of rubber that can be used for many purposes. i woulde way rather trust a piece of rubber that plastic pedastals rubber imo would be quieter and less probability of folding up cab mounts under the floor pans. i dont have hockey pucks or body lift in any of my trucks but dont disagree with it. lol what about panty hose for a belt i have seen it done. and it works. those are not intended for that purpse at all
If it were not for people trying things that were not meant to be on vehicles, no aftermarket high performance parts would exist and we would all be driving bone stock trucks and paying dealerships big $$ to fix them. And when parts went obsolete, we would just crush our trucks and buy new ones. Not a world I want to live in.

You are right they are not meant to be used on trucks. If they were meant to be used on trucks they would cost 4 times as much.
What do you think the body mounts are made from? Vulcanized rubber, the same **** a hockey puck is made out of.
I used 1500 lbs as a MAX, so if its less than that just imagine there being two fat bitches riding shotgun on the bench seat. There's your added 600. If its less thats even better, less weight on the mounts. A hockey puck won't have any problem supporting a 150 pounds.
I'm no genius but I am two years from my Mechanical Engineering degree. I have a little understanding of whats going on as far as internal forces that hockey puck has to withstand. I wouldnt recommend doing this if it wouldn't work.
I could do an analysis with a hockey puck to prove it but I'm not going to waste my time, I'd lose you real quick.

So two years of college told you that you can put hockey pucks on your pickem up truck? Wow i wish i could have paid for people to tell me that. Also are you trying to say that i am stupid? Im guessin your the type of guy to put a 3" body lift and 33s on your truck to impress the college girls. If it wasnt for guys like you JC Whitney wouldnt exist.
I'm not on here to call anyone stupid, but anyone calling me stupid isn't exactly the the mosted lubed condom in the 6 pack. If the sock fits put the mother ****er on, it doesn't matter what color it is.
