Active regeneration
I have a new F250 Powerstroke. Since I've had it it has gone through the regen maybe 5 or 6 times never lasting more than 10 min. Yesterday
it lasted about 30 min and white smoke was coming up from under the hood and through the a/c vents. I'v heard this can happen but how much
is normal and is it normal to be coming out of the a/c vents. I thought my
truck was on fire!!

Smoke coming out of the A/C vents?!?!?
Sounds like your truck has it in for you and is trying to kill you....
You definately need to take that to the dealer and get it fixed, especially before you truck has another opportunity to finish the job....

This happened to me. I had a new Bobcat with diesel power. About 150 hours old. All kind of white smoke came in cab. I thoughit it blew up. I stopped the machine in it's tracks, literally and figureatively. I waited for three days, and the service guy never showed up.
Then I got brave and decided I would diagnose and fix problem. DUMB me. I had put a fire extinguisher in the cab and it vibrated a hole and expended all the fire extinguisher.
