carb'd intake and a carb. thats pretty much it. i have never done this but i think you can just plug the injector ports and run that intake, just get a carb to sit atop!
i run a mechanical advance HEI dissy but i would not run a HEI on a smallblock again they are way too big i had to use an offset aircleaner to do it, you need a bypass fuel pressure regulator and a 3/8ths return line and a bunch of -6an line (use this please 2 of my friends burned to death when a rubber fuel line on their mustang ripped off the carb and sprayed the dissy with -an lines this won't happen)
and i did not keep any of the stock fuel injection sensors just kept the computer because i don't know what else it controls
and you have to put a fuel pump switch in your truck
Why convert to carb rather than sticking with EFI?
in my experiance carbs are better in mud because there are less wires to get wet and have problems, a carb is a lot simplier and easier to tune, no sensors to go bad, i got better gas mileage after i switched to my carb, you can control your timing mechanically, looks a LOT cooler that efi, a carb doesn't care what duration your cam is (that's why i did mine so i could run a LUMPY cam)
and get a ZF tranny instead of the stock one you have the zf will handle the power of a 347, or you could get a tko 600 with a divorced np205 transfercase
and your ttb isn't going to hold up with anything more than 35s and you'll want a dana 60 swap as well for 10in of lift

thanks i'm gonna do the 10" at the withe the straight axle conversion with dana 60's front and rear
i have jet extentions in my carb and the breather holes linked together with a peice of hose with holes in it i have NEVER had a problem with fuel starvation after i did these mods
carbs are a pain in the rear off road...nothing more annoying than being starved for gas because you are on an incline
keep the efi or put a propane carb on it
I agree it does suck being starved for gas.
But it also does suck if you go a little deeper than you thought and fry all you electronics because your hood went under for a second or two.
