Warner T 18 Transmission
I have a few questions about T 18's, how do they compare to the NP 435'S,what's a good source for a repair manual, what's a good source for mail order parts ? Hope somebody can help me on this

I have been trying to find some information on them too. Its funny I was looking through a "4-WHEEL & OFF-ROAD" catalog and they had a section on transmissions and on the picture for the Borg Warner T-18 they have a picture of the NP435. I know this because i have both of those transmissions. I think that there both great transmissions. They are both top loaders but the NP435 doesnt have the screw on cap like the Borg Warner's do. They both have granny lows. Wish I could help with some manuals but i dont know of any.

I just rebuilt my NP435 (1969 4wd). Used the shop manual, and a clymer for ford 4wd. Got both on e-bay. Between the two I Had enough information to do it. If you rebuild make sure to shim properly.

I think the ford f series bible, available in book stores has a section on rebuilding one if not both of these. I think it is written by a guy named Moses Ludel. he has one called the jeep bible as well.
