Fuel Gauge issues
so my trucks fuel gauge is no longer working. i am not sure where to start looking or what i need to buy. both the miles til empty and fuel guage no longer work. but there is still power to the gauge. it never reads above a 1/4 tank but it seems to move every time the ignition is on but no noticable change when i put fuel in it. i have ran out of diesel twice since this has occured and i am tired of that. so i figured i would fix the problem. so anyone have advice on where to start first?

Could be gauge.
But i would rather drop tank that pull dash apart. Do the intank fuel mod while you are there.

Could be the sender. Here is a chalked up picture
