Lightbulb Lets have some fun!!!!

Ok guys so I have recently found out why my motor had no power it is a 255 and not a 302. Since I will probably never find anyone that wants a 255 I am gonna put it back together (had to replace a head gasket) and drive the hell out of it. So if anyone has any ideas about stuf they always wanted to do but was afraid to do cause it could hurt the engine. Just let me know and ill try them out. Lets see what this little 255 can do. Im gonna be building a better motor in the mean time. So lets here some ideas.

Regardless if you are ditching the motor or not, I could never bring myself to intentionally hurt it.

Years of tinkering with them has given me a lot of respect for what they are and we ask them to do.

since you intend to hurt it, it will now probably outlast your truck

Just have a little more fun with it. Since I am preparing a new motor for my truck, I have been pushing my old motor a little harder. I'm not trying to kill it or anything, but it had been so long since I used the secondaries on my carb, I had all but forgotten how fast my truck could be. It's still not that fast, but I was mildly impressed.

Put a bunch of Lucas Oil treatment in it, run it for a while, then drain all the oil and see how long it runs.

Ever tried to remove a locked up engine from an AT? Gotta pull the torque converter out with it...PITA!! Saw a guy pull an escort in the shop for a motor swap (it was knocking) He held it about 5-6k till a rod came out, knocked a hole in the radiator and made a huge mess
