just got mine from recon today, yours look great. I heard the recon bulbs are for ****, did you install just the lenses or use the included bulbs? I have not installed yet, was thinking about retaining factory lamps. Thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance.

If you retain the factory bulbs the lights will light up white. The factory bulbs are white and the lenses give them the yellow glow whereas the Recon bulbs themselves are yellow.
thanks guys, installed the lights last night and yep, the factory bulbs do show white in the dark lenses. Looks cool (my truck is white) but I suspect I'll be changing over to the supplied amber bulbs since, in IL anyway, we're not supposed to show white light to the rear and some does show. What an easy and inexpensive (40 bucks on ebay) way to trick out the roofline. Gotta admit Mr. Watson that they probably look best on your black truck.
Does anybody know of a post I could lookup to install cab lights on my non factory equipped truck. Is it worth the hassle or am I getting into something I should just leave alone?
