Old Model T post card

I got this E-mail from my brother the other day. Man I wish I lived in 1928. If only I was making the money I'm making today. Wouldnt mind paying those prices for a complete motor and transmission overhaul.

For reference $10 in 1928 is equal to $125 today. Looks like a drivetrain overhaul could be done for $300-$500 in today's dollars.
