fender flares
Hi i have a 09 F150XLT super crew. The tires are wide enough to throw road splashes on the mirrors even driving in a straight line. Anyone put flares on and if so what make and was it an easy install

EGR and Bushwacker have flares for the 09. I ordered a set of Bushwacker's low profile Street Flares for my 09 XLT several weeks ago but was recently told by Bushwacker they aren't scheduled for production until maybe late fall. Some of the larger profile flares might be available now, call them.
I don't have experience with the EGR flares but had read a post where they are super easy to install with no drilling or tape, just clips. Different sizes may have different methods though. I've installed the Bushwacker flares and they usually require a couple of holes to be drilled depending on application but mostly use factory holes when available.
Just yesterday I got a set of 09 OEM flares off ebay for $169. They are new take-offs which I'm really happy about for the price. I have a 4x2 and only wanted the OEM style flares for aesthetics on my XLT. I didn't need actual splash protection.
