My surprise truck, (2002 V10 Crew Cab Short Bed SRW) has decided to give me another surprise yesterday. I was towing a small trailer, loaded with two mowers and other odds and ends, when all of a sudden, my steering went berserk. It would pull either left or right, and as soon as I tried to correct it, it would pull in the opposite direction. I could not get it to center back down. However, when I stopped at a light, it seemed to go back to normal.
I narrowed it down today that it only happens when taking a turn. I recently had a ball joints on the driver side done, as well as a drag link replaced with an alignment. Last October, the passenger side ball joints were done. What the hell is going on ere.
New parts don't always mean good parts, it's possible that a balljoint is failing again. I think jacking up the front end and wiggling everything is in order.

It was an OEM part done by good friend of mine who is a professional mechanic. Guess I'll check.
