slow starter
I'm trying to get my truck started after it's beeen down a while for the head gaskets......
Anyway.... the starter is turning over real slow even when I put power to directly to the cable attached to the starter relay. The car was hooked up to jumper cables connected to a running car. I completely disconnected the battery because I thought it may have been taking power away but it was to no help.
The starter is only a few months old and I brought it to autozone to have it tested and they said it was fine.
I did a quick search and someone said something about the power wire for the starter being correded. Should remove the starter power wire and put 12v to the starter?
