High Idle When Braking

High Idle When Braking
I have a friend that has a 2000 F250, stock 7.3, auto,4X4. He told me today that when he uses the brakes that the engine races pretty high. That was the only conversation I had as we were both in a hurry. Does anything stand out with you folks as to what might be causing this?????????

I wish I had more info. It was just passing conversation and I thought that I would try to research it for him. Probably need to see if there is a code.
He did say that sometimes it would race the engine pretty high when brakeing.

If you new this guy you would consider that a valid question.
Doesn't seem like something that happens much, considering no one seems to have any information. Oh well, I can tell him I tried. Thanks guys.
