Diff and gears
I have a 1994 F250 with the 300 six. I was wondering what my rear differential and gear ratio are.
Here is what the tag on the diff says:
S106G
55 10 2 4B26

S106G = '87-'97 F250 over 8500 GVW, 3.55 ratio, non-limited slip, 10.25 inch ring gear.

You are missing the "3" before the "55" you show on the tag.

You say that it is over 8500 GVW? Does this mean that it is an F250 HD? I was under the assumption that it was not. Thanks.

Should be a plate or sticker telling you max GVW on the door jamb perhaps.
