Which sucks like crazy. But I just got off the phone with Bill at RacerX and my tranny is in line for its build up. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I looked at BTS-which would be awsome but I don't need a trans built that strong(with that price tag). Ford wanted 2200 for a reman but no TC and gave me a fit about the 3yr warenty when they found out it wasn't stock. RacerX was the perfect meduim. 3250 for a "stage 1" build so good price and I know from his rep that I will get a good tranny. Just hate that I can't drive my truck for 2 weeks

What does the stage I include for upgrades? I know I talked to Bill a while back and he was very helpful guiding me towards the right parts which totaled around $2500-$3000, but I don't remember what he said the built price would be. I think I was probably built a little more heavy duty than a stage I though.

I would also upgrade to 3/8 cooling lines.

Yes on the cooler--tru-cool 30,000k--whats the benifit of the 3/8? Just more flow? I guess you would also get 1/2 qt more in TF capacity. And I sprung the $30 for a new pan(I think it had a qt or 2 more capacity)with a drain plug. Dang Ford!
