ok, well i got the grille off, but how do i remove the emblem? it has two triangular clips that slide in place but don't seem to be able to back out. and a plastic screw it there too
The tabs that you had to release along the bottom, do you use the screwdriver between the radiator and grill under the hood or between the bumper and grill on the outside?
go from the top. the clips are attached to the plastic valance. you will see a little space between the clip and the valance. push down on that it will come off
believe it or not after removing the cheap nut i used two butter knives and shimmied them between the tab and the so called locks the pushed them out one at a time.
