1992 Explorer Manual. Help??

1992 Explorer Manual. Help??
I am looking at 1992 Explorer and was wondering if the manual transmission that is bad, could be swapped out for a ranger manual transmission? The explorer is a 4.0L.

Don't see any reason why it wouldn't both Vehicles got that same motor so it stands to reason the transmisions would be interchangeable that is provided the rangers gotta 4.0L too. the stick is taller on the ranger so unless you could swap that for the one off the explorer transmission it'd sit up kinda high but beyond that Yeah you should be able to
