I just couldn't wait.....

I was so stoked about getting my new tires yesterday, but it's going to be a while until I get the Project Flareside up and running.

So instead of tripping over the rims and tires, I figured I throw them on my F2 Fiddy to see what they would look like.

They actually fit pretty good with only slight rubbing on the front fenders at full lock.

I think I'm going to keep them on here for a while until things get done on the other truck. Man, they ride NICE even without any weights on them at all! One thing I did notice is that my stopping distance has greatly increased due to the weight of the wheel and tire combo (~150lbs each).

Looky here. It's got BEEF written all over it:

You do get a lot of flywheel effect with the big tires. Did you get my PM about the 96 f250 steering column? I cant find one locally.

Damn that looks good!!

Ok, since were on the topic of wheels and Stosh was nice enough to already make a post for me...

I know it's not a truck, but it is still a Ford, I got the tires finally and had them mounted up yesterday. I put these on last night when I got home. The last pic was today at work, although the shade screwed me up, that and these are iPhone pics...

Thank you, we now return to our normal broadcast...

Nope, no real lift to speak of.

I did swap out the rear axle and springs last year out of a crew cab F350 though. Other than that it's stock (for now).

I'm running 36psi in them right now but they will do 80psi and are load rated at over 4000lbs each!

With a set of beadlocks (which I will run on the Flareside) you can run them with 0psi on the trails. The side walls are that stiff.

I'll probably only air them down to about 10psi on the trails though. I'm too afraid of running them with NO air.
