Motor Swaps

I know a fellow who has a 1994 7.3, I have a late 95 7.3 powerstroke, with electronic injectors. My question is: can he put this engine in his truck, and if so what does he need from my parts truck. I was thinking he's going to need the PCM from mine. I'm not very well versed in the Diesel world, so please be patient. Thanks.

Oh you're wanting to use his engine block??? If so, It doesn't work like that, nothing is interchangeable.

You will need the full wiring harness with PCM, IDM, dash gauges and other sensors. Like the one from the rearend. You will also need the pedal assembly. Everything from under the hood will go including map sensor and vacuum pump, alternator and possibly the radiator (not sure how big the IDI rad is).

I mean to say FULL wiring harness

This is a pretty big swap. You definately need a donor vehicle to perform this.
