Exhaust question

i have a F250 SD 6.0L diesel i don't do any towing that much just some wood hauling every now and again, i don't run a tuner (yet ) is it ok to run a 5" exhaust?

In my personal opinion, the largest exhaust a 6.0L should run is 4" The 5" is nor really gonna give you more power unless you do a lot of mods to get more air into the engine. even at that a 5" exhaust is debatable. 4" is cheaper and easier to do too. Plus I think it looks better.

You can run any exhaust you wish as you're turbo'd so back pressure isn't an issue. In fact you want as free flowing a setup as possible without letting the air cool too much (which increases exhaust density, thus weight, thus takes more from the engine to push it out). for the sake of sanity, I say 4" as well with like a 5" tip.
