My dad has a 1989 Ranger that used to be mine. I drive it occasionaly, usually as a parts hauler when I'm working on my truck.
The mirror on the drivers door is like a limp noodle, adjust it to see and go over 30 mph it just moves in toward the window.
If I remember right, this is a common problem..
anyone got a fix??? maybe just a new mirror, but not like factory one cause it would probably just fail again??
Take the mirror off and look up inside of the base. There is a nut that can be tightened that will help the mirror stay put better. Just to confirm, is this the little black plastic "flag style" mirror?
