2100?

Ive a 1.08 motorcraft 2bbl carb. I understand that these are about the most reliable thing on earth however what about tunability?

Do they use holley jets?
Is there a power valve?

It is from a 64 292 ford and was a good carb on that engine. Id like to install it on my 300. Can I tune it like a holley.

I don't know if the jets are interchangeable with Holley jets, but yes the 2100 uses a power valve. I think it's pointless to put a 2-barrel on a 300. A 4 barrel upgrade makes a lot more sense.

Explain to me how to fit a 4 BBL on a 1 bbl intake? I'm fabing this in with junk I have sitting around. Kinda a budget build.

It doesn't. I meant 4 barrel carburetor and intake at the same time. A 2V-1V adapter plate is going to be so restrictive that you're not going to flow much more fuel and air in the first place, so you should upgrade to a 4 barrel intake. At that point you have the option of a 2 barrel or 4 barrel carburetor, but between the two a 4 barrel is much more efficient.

Im milling a flat on a stock cast 300 intake. Installing a 1 1/8" spacer Ill machine to accept a 2100 or holley 2BBL. I have time and tools so I make whatever I can.
There is not enough space to fit a 4bbl on there. If I had a digital camera Id show you what it looks like when its finished. This is a popular mod on falcon sixes and it gave me the idea.

Is the powervalve similar to a holley? If not are they still available in different rates?
