08 x cab Want to install PWs & D locks
I have an 08 (built 3/08) X-cab picKup(133 in.) with manual windows and locks. Has anyboby added power locks and windows to their truck?Electric life has kits but what do you do about the window crank hole-AND its very low on door panel and hole is not flat ,it is domed outward. Switches placed there would be TOO low. Thanks Blue

i have done the locks and it worked great in combination with my viper alarm system. as for the windows i am planning on doing it when i have the time and money. i will put the switches to the left and right of the cig lighter instead of where the crank hole is and cover the crank hole with a cap if i can find one or just make one up. hope that this helps.

i plan on trying to do mine but i want to get new door panels and oem wiring. im still looking for all that good stuff. i did learn that the rear windows already have a manual regulator, but i guess they couldnt put a crank on it because of the armrest, they do actually roll down though.

i can get all the door panels for mine but they are gray, my interior was originally that color but im changing it to black. some trucks already have wiring harnesses in the door but unfortunately mine doesnt so i havent figured out exactly how to hook everything up yet either.
