been shopping around for a diesel for a little bit and found it last week, 2006 superduty powerstroke. supercab fx4 90 000 kilometres . does anyone know the biggest set of tires i can put on? if it is the 35/12.5/17's . does that burn up the tranny? does anyone have some pictures with wide aggressive 33's? . this is the best website i've visited for my truck. looking forward to threading and learning
planned upgrades
sct tune
leveling kit(if needed for 35's)
mbrp cat back
oil by-pass
Welcome to FTE! Be sure to scroll down to the 6.0 forum for more info on your new
rig. Is your truck lifted or stock? Lots of threads in here you can read about larger tires
and lifts and what will fit.
that looks great wewonit. those are 33"s? if thats what they look like,it's going to be enough tire fore me.do you have any pics directly from the side?
thanks masdjak ,just took it to Niagara Falls(and got engaged)and love the truck...(her too! LOL) mine is stock fx4 but still might a do 2" leveling kit if 35" will go. but don't want to stray to far from stock just want a nicer stance. the pic of wewont" looks right. so im back and forth. one thing is for sure i think i need them, i got a slight wooble im hoping is just a tire out of balance.
Here is a side shot, it is leveled and I think it needs 35s to look right. But if yours is stock height and an 06 vise an 08, 33s will look great. The other picture is on uneven ground and makes that side look like stock height. This one shows the huge space I have to fill on a leveled 2008.
