Inline 4.9 Propane

The donor truck for my C600 project is a mid 80's F-250, running a 300 V6 Propane job. The vehicle was a utility truck for a local propane distributor. The truck reportedly sat, did not run for 2 years. We hooked a battery up to her today, let it crank over a few times and it fired right up. The truck still has a gas tank on it, and there is a disconnect switch of some sort in the driver side rocker panel. I would like to know if we can make this a bi-fuel truck with some tinkering? For long distance trips this would be helpful, given it won't always be easy to find a propane filling station off a highway. Thank you.

It sounds like it may already be a bi-fuel vehicle.....

When I was a freshmen in high school the busses that picked us up were tri-fuel. they would run on gas, diesel, or propane. I never looked under the hood of one of them, but the only internal change was a manual selector switch on the floor board.
