Hi All, Would like to introduce myself in this thread because its were im going to be spending pretty much all of my time. Name is Justin, 20 years old, From Mid Michigan and Just bought my first Oval. Got myself kind of a sweet heart I feel. I picked up a 1967 Ford F-100 Shortbox 2wd from a guy I work with. Been looking for a HotRod Truck project and this one was just it. Its Got a 460 backed with a C/6 followed up with a Big Bearing 9". I got it for 500 bucks, Running and it was an hour from my house. The Truck is REALLY solid with the exception of the rear Cab mounts. Thinkin Im going to go pro tour with it. Looking for any help, suggestions and advice that you guys/gals have to offer.

P.s I will get pics posted soon.

there are only a few parts that are 67 only. mostlly the doors and the dash. everything else will be 67 to 72 or even some parts from a 73 to 79 will fit too. the 460 is a good motor and you cant beat a C6 trans. good luck!

These few parts include:

Both doors...the only parts that are compatible with 1968/72 doors (which are the same) is the glass, weatherstrips, both hinges, the vent frames and division bars. Everything else is 1967 only.

The dash is 1967 only, as are the radio and heater.

The firewall is 1967 only.

The brake and clutch pedals, the bracket they hang from under the dash, are 1967 only.

The hood side emblems are 1967 only.

The brake proportioning valve and the low brake fluid warning light switch are 1967 only.

The master cylinder is 1967 only. If the truck has power brakes, the booster is 1967 only.

The instrument cluster bezel is 1967 only.

If the truck has the horizontal side mouldings, 1967's, 1968's (before serial number C56,001) are 1 1/4" wide.

1968's (after # C56,001), 1969's are 1 1/2" wide. These same 1 1/2" wide mouldings were also used on some 1970/72's.
