tuners
alright fellers just got my income tax refund and fixin to spend it on my 97 psd for a chip. i'm wantin to get something that i can shift on the fly and is gonna help improve fuel mileage especially when haulin cows. any suggestions?

TW, DP-tuner, or PHP. DP and PHP have online set-ups so that you can download new programs from their website. TW has some slightly better tunes than DP or PHP I guess, but don't be stupid like me and get an EDGE. Or any other off-the-shelf tuner/programmer for that matter.

Whoever you go with, be it DP, PHP, TW, you won't go wrong. You need to call them and tell them what you have as far as what mods have been done, and if you plan any more. Manual or auto tranny. Some of the tunes available are for fun and not for towing, so keep that in mind. A set of gauges would be a good investment especially if you're going to be towing. Another example would be a high mileage tune may not be good for towing. Mileage tunes are generally ment for driving, not working, towing etc.
