Help Trans install problem.
I removed and I am trying to reinstall my c6 from my 1982 F150 351M. When I line up the tran to the eng all is well. When I tighten the trans to the block, the mounting studs on the converter line up with the holes in the flywheel ok and the converter has been seated properly, but they do not seem long enough to grab with the nut. Has anyone experienced this or have any hints? Thanks Art

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Nov-02 AT 08:44 PM (EST)]Try turning the converter while pushing on it. It may look seated properly but might need to go on just a bit more.
