brakes need help
trying to bleed the brakes on my 99 f250 superduty but can't get a good hard pedal also I get a push back when I apply the brakes. Does the truck need to be running while I bleed the syetem. any Ideas ?

mine did this when it was off as well. It was kind of mushy but got a hard push back. All I did was turn the truck on put it in reverse and let on and off the break to make sure the truck would stop. After a few pumps while running it went back to normal and i havent had a problem since.
Just make sure when you are bleeding them your just getting fluid and no bubbles, and you should be fine.
