I've got a 96' F-250 and i did some rust repair/painting on the box. Is there an aftermarket company makin the pin stripe that goes between the two tone paint. Mines green with the white stripe on either side and i need the pin stripe and the wheel well trim peices. The wheel trim is easy to get but ford doesnt make the pin stripe no more. A local graphics place might be able to make them but probly will get pricey... i figure i ask if you guys know of any other way i could get them.
A good bodyshop should be able to replicate those factory pinstripes.
I had my 92 F150 repainted and the pinstripes were replaced on 80 percent of the truck and you cant tell the difference from the original and the new. They didnt use Ford stripes -but aftermarket.
thats what ive tried... my pinstripe is base green with silver stripes, we were gonna get the green stripe and then put the silver over the green to replocate the factory pinstripe. The places i looked including some autobody stores dont have green thats even somewhat close... I'll have to call around and see if some one local has a good selection of colors.

Try to find a body shop that handles classic restorations. I found a bodyshop wherein the owner loved Ford F series and had his own highly restored 1979 F100 covered in the back of the shop.
I would suggest having the vinyl stripes applied professionally. I couldnt apply them myself-and get them straight enough to suit me.
I would suggest checking out one of the regional FTE groups listed in the bottom of the Forum section of this website. Someone in your area has had excellent bodywork done to their F series down in your area and would know of a good shop-I bet.
My vinyl stripes had a color that was discontinued 15 years ago-and they were able to match them in color,width,texture-perfectly!!
