Okay, time to install my LS carrier in place of my open carrier. Now, I obviously plan on draining the fluid. I have 3 bottles of 80w-90 to go in and the extra is to lube the gears and bearing before they go in. I know I have to soak the clutches for atleast 15 minutes in friction modifier before they go in. When filling the axle back up, should I pour 1 bottle of 80w-90 in, then the 4oz of friction modifier, then fill the axle until it starts to come out the fill hole? Or is there another way i'm suppose to do it. Also, I'm going to clean out the housing the best I can since the pinion is still going to be there, what should I use to clean it out? Also, what should I use to clean the LS carrier going in? Should I clean the side and spyder gears that are going in too? They arn't DIRTY but still have lube residue on them. Thanks.
