d60 tie rod question

the endlink has alot of slack in it and the "shank" part is wore nearly into and i didnt know if it was possible to press the old one out and replae it or not...i havnt checked the price on a complete tie rod, do you think napa would have them?

tie rods arent something you want to mess with,,if your goin down the highway at 70 mph and your jimmy rigged tie rod fails and rolls you into the ditch youll know you want a new one lol I dont know about pressing the old part out,,when you refer to "endlink" im assuming you mean pitman arm,,when those ends go bad its best to replace the whole thing. I dont know about Napa but i know for a fact that autozone can order you one.

i absolutely agree, i dont want a hackjob for a tie rod...and when i say endlink i mean the part that actually connects to the knuckle on the pass side. the drivers side has the short end with the adjuster then the long rod with the rod end on the other side, (my pitman arm and draglink are fine)...illcheck the price from autozone...thanks
