Odd clutch chatter!
The clutch on my '73 F-100 works fine and quite smooth if I let it out while the rpm's are near about 1500. Anything under that and it chatters enough to shake the truck. I've throughly checked all the usual things like all mounts, u-joints, read end, pedal adjustment, etc.and can find nothing. While the smoothness at the rpm's mentioned is quite odd, perhaps this is the usual indicator that it's time for a new clutch! Does everyone agree? Polkat
