Question Electrical help.

Need a bit of help here, not so good working with electrical/eletroincs.

problem is a no start on a "new" motor,
Got all in have fuel at the rail, looks like no spark,
turn key--- no starter, but all the lights radio etc work,
using alt start button hooked to the starter motor cranks and has oil psi,

were should I start looking? and what should I look for?

1989 F250 351W 5speed.

If you push the clutch down and if the switch on the clutch is OK bleeding the clutch will not help in the cranking.
You need to check for power along the circuit from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid while the key is in the start position.
You also said no spark so is there power on the coil with the key on and in the start position?

Unhappy

Well found out what was wrong with the cut out switch.. must mash the pedal through the floor to get it working.

now to just get the motor to have fire in the hole.
got fuel in the rail, pulled plug smells of fuel (rebuilt motor),
got spark on test. just no fire?
Even tried moving the diss 180.

and of course the ford hyd clutch, what was wrong with links?

but for now I need some sleep, work at 10m tonight.
