Started finding my oil leak

Started finding my oil leak

Well i ordered the mechanics kit from guzzle and it came in the other day so figured i'd attempt to fix my oil leak. After reading tons of post i assumed it was the turbo pedestal. We cleaned the top of the motor off with purple power and sprayed it with the garden hose and then started the truck and no oil to be seen! So i started taking stuff apart to get to the turbo and came to the orange boots, The clamps weren't tight! Loose as could be. So i said sweet. tightened them put everything back on and drove to syracuse (25min drive) and back. no driping when i was in syracuse and when i got back we checked on top of the motor and it had some oil on it!

So bottom line is that it is coming from the HPOP and i think it is the "non servicable plug" does anyone have a pic with where all the o-rings go from guzzles? Thnks guys!

Sorry, no pictures, but there was a post about the "non servicable" plug.. Just take heat to it ( tourch ) to loosen it.. it is the locktite that they use that makes it a problem..I will be oredering that kit myself soon.. damn drips

Thanks but the problem is that i don't know where any of these are on the HPOP. I'm kinda new at it.

Don't overlook you high pressure oil lines. I had one that I chased for almost a year before I found it. It was only leaking under the highest of pressures and must have been spraying it enough that I was looking in the wrong place. Any signs of oil around the high pressure line fittings means it's leaking.

thanks for the pm's guzzle! and i'll make sure to check the lines too because it only leaks when i get on the throttle.
