IMO, you need a 15.50" wide tire to look "right" under cut-out flares.
Agreed 100%
its going to look goofy with 12.5's
I just have the pocket once that dont require any cutting and i think my 12.5's need to be another inch out.

I'm planning on running 37X13.5R18 or 38X13.5R18 tires. Also, the 18X10 wheels that I'm using have 4.5" of back spacing on the wider 2007-2009 Dana front axle. I estimate that the tires will extend out 3.5" minimum from the stock fenders. The "Pocket" flares only add 2" of tire coverage. The "Cut Out" flares add 4.5" of tire coverage. Therefore, the "Cut Out" flares are the only ones that provide sufficient tire coverage.
Yes, I agree and have decided against the cut out fender flares. I'm returning the recent 18X10 Injector wheels because of poor quality finish. I found a great deal on the Ion Terminators but wonder which size wheel would be best... 18X10 or 20X10 with 37X13.5R18 or 37X13.5R20 tires respectively and a 7" lift kit.
Any recommendation?
Either size, both have a lot of tire choices. Some wheels are only available in the 20x10 and not 18x10 (some are only 18x9s...or some don't offer 18s). So as long as the wheel you want comes in the size and the tire you want will fit it you're good.
I'm going with the 18X10 wheels. The 20X10 wheels look better from a side view but I guess I'm old school and feel that plenty of meat on the sidewall is important. Also, I am going to use the cut out flares so that I can keep the lift to a minimum. Thanks for all the help guys!
