hello 1990 ranger

I have a 1990 ranger with 150,000 on it the shock are starting to rust when should i replace them

Welcome to FTE. This is a great place to get help and ideas for your Ranger.

How bouncy is your ride? Mine were bad when I bought the truck with 58k miles on it so I replaced them. I had trouble holding a line in it at 60 mph. I'd say you should be replacing the second set about now.

Seems like they should have been replaced long before 150k. Originals don't usually last much past 50k from what I've seen. You should notice a good difference in the ride once you change them.
