fender year range?
I'm looking for a set of fenders for my '56, I know 53-56 will work, but did Ford change the fender design in '57? If not when did they?

I plan on modifying them quite a bit, they would be way too small stock on my 600.

The 57 Ford truck fender is totally different.

Around here the 57-60 fenders rust as bad and as fast as the 53-6.

i think you are talking about the rears and i think the rears are the same from 53-72

My bad.
I was only thinking about fronts, John is right in that the rears would interchange in these years.

This is true, except that the 57-72 have the holes to mount the running boards about 2 inches higher. Easy fix if the rest is in good shape.

Ah thanks, I thought they looked the same... should have mentioned I was talking about the rear.

They're going to be heavily modified anyways, so the holes for the running boards won't be a problem, heck those have to be custom too.
