yes.. see my gallery for pics..

nice.. now that I've done a new bed, I'd do it different next time.. only for the long term amount of finish up work. (primed, at least in the joints),

Thanks Sam, it looks nice in your pics. Are you happy with the way it fits and looks? Also how was customer service? I am looking at a bed from Mar-K also but there is no wood or tailgait with it. However there is free shipping from them. Just trying to make my mind up. Thanks

on the cust service.. nice..

I wanted two new bed wood parts cause I am putting the wood on top of the bed side rail... no problem, I wanted no chains.. no problem..
I deleted then added the standard bed strips, no problem..

looks great.. only thing I would have wanted different is, and this has NOTHING to do with this supplier specifically..

1. the tailgate without chains needs a little more on the side to make it uniform (the bent edge).. don't know if anyone does this

2. where the bed is welded together, and you cannot get primer in, but water WILL go in, nice to know IF it can be primed before assembly..
don't know if anyone does this..

and due to the length of time between receipt and paint, because of the unprimed state, I got surface rust that had to be dealt with before paint...
extra money.. something to think about..

shipping, now 3 yrs ago, was $300 to Texas.. the box was unimpressive on the outside..

Sam

Thanks for the info. I could possibly get a better bed from Mar-K with free shipping but then would have to purchase a tailgate from someone else because they do not offer a 52 tailgate, then also would have to buy the bed wood too. Probably all works out the same money wise but just thought everything at once from Northern Classic Trucks would be easier to deal with. Thanks for the info.

MAR-K's parts are made in Oklahoma City, USA. The metal parts in this bed kit are manufactured of steel, formed and welded to match original components. Parts are ready to primer and bolt together. The kit includes hardware to bolt these parts together and bolt holes are provided. The kit also comes with instructions for bed assembly and bed wood installation. This kit does not include the wood bed floor parts, which may be ordered separately or as a wood bed kit.
Yes, you do have to buy the tailgate elsewhere. However, we are having the free shipping PLUS 10% off Spring Cleaning Special right now. You can use the Free Freight and the 10% off together. The codes are FREEFRT1 and SC04092. Hope that helps!

Thanks Mar-ktech. Could you tell me if it can be delivered directly to my home or does it need to be shipped to a business? Also, how long would it take to recieve it after I paid for it? Thanks

If you are paying by Credit Card, it needs to be shipped to the address on the credit card. If you are paying by check, you can have it sent to any address you want.
It generally takes 10-15 days to receive your parts, depending on where you live, it may take less. If you are having any custom upgrades added to the bed sides then it make take a little longer. But we make the parts here and they are in stock, so you shouldn't have to wait.

I have some pictures in my gallery of one that I bought on e-bay last year, from them. What I liked was that they delivered to a swap meet for free. They asked your location, and would let you know when they would be close to your location. I my case I only drove 20 minutes to get my complete bed kit. Shipping can be costly and getting a chance to hand pick your parts was nice also. Hope this helps you out. Tim

Thanks for the answers. I went to the MAR-K site and done a what if in the checkout. Question is: With the 10% discount it comes out to be $951.08.

Does this still qualify for the free freight? Thanks
Forgot to mention that I included a rear pan and some pads also.

The 10% and the free fright (if you put in the code) will apply. The system may not show that you have the free freight, but it will give it to you when the order is processed as long as you put in both codes.
Which Rear pan did you order. I have a different amount, but that is probably about right, depending on what you ordered.
PM me your name/email address and I'll make sure the order gets taken care of for you.

One more question.. can you get the sides and front panels without the bolt holes drilled where they mate ?
