Hot start problem

Hot start problem

2006 F250, when vehicle is a normal operation temp and I shut down it will not start until it has cooled abou 30 -45 minutes. It spins over very well but acts as if it is not getting fuel. After cooling as indicated above it then starts normally.

Sounds like your STC fitting or Snap To Connect fitting on your HPOP. When your engine is cold, the oil is thicker allowing it build the necessary pressure to start. When your engine is hot, your oil is thin making it more difficult if not impossible to start. If you're still under warranty, there's a bracket they install that will rectify the problem.
