[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Dec-02 AT 11:15 PM (EST)]Detroit lockers are strong and reliable and I believe available for both. Also, ARB air locker but they are pricey. Detroit came out with a electric locker but I'm not sure about available apps. For the front you might want to consider either a selectable locker or limited slip for better steering? But just my thoughts, you might need to run front and rear lockers.
I have a Lock-right in my front Dana 60. It's cheap and easy to install. It works well, but if I had a little more $$$ I would pick a selectable locker (ARB or E-locker). With the lock-right in the front (and with most other non-selectable lockers), you get an annoying ratcheting noise when turning. It only happens when the hubs are locked, though. And when four wheeling, making sharp turns can be nearly impossible if the locker happens to be engaged.
If you have the money, selectable lockers are the way to go. Currently, I think the only selectable locker for the 10.25 rear is the ARB. Eaton told me the 10.25 E-locker will be released in mid to late 2003.
I just learned about a new selectable locker that originated in Europe. Check out www.killeraxles.com for more info. Unfortunately, they don't make one for the 10.25 yet. I am trying to get more info on when it may be available.
Until then, I'll have to live with my old limited-slip rear end.
