electric fans

I ordered an electric fan and shroud for my 49 from sacramento vintage about 2 months ago and still its on backorder. What other fan and shroud will fit? Id like to just get one locally.

Go down to U-Pull-it and rummage around in the Domestic sections, find a big Caddy or Lincoln with a big fan. Or a big dual-fan unit from a FWD car.

I agree with ALBUQ F-1-

I have purchased the aftermarket setups and gotten OEM ones from Pick & Pull locally and I think the OEM fans are of much higher quality and cheaper. The last one I bought off a Cadillac was two speed and the shroud was a perfect fit for my radiator. Just take a tape measure and do a little measuring. The Caddy setup was $29.
