My 2002 FX4 is giving me a sputter problem when given it light acceleration and sometimes at a idol. Very weird about 2 month ago my Check Engine Light came one and the truck started sputtering like crazy. So bad I had to get off the road and have it towed. The next day I went to fire it up and the sputtering stopped so I went to the part store picked up some fuel injection cleaner and tuned the light off. The light has yet to come back on but I still get a minuscule sputter. For example driving down the freeway, if you come off the gas then try to accelerate it will sputter. It doesn’t do it every time but it does it enough to notice it. It will also do it at a idol some times. If you push it you don’t feel it, it’s only on a light acceleration and sometimes at a idol. I have already changed the fuel filter and have done the fuel system cleaning. The code that came of the CEL was P0175, so had the fuel pressure tested and it came out at 39 psi at an idol. I want to do the fuel pressure test while I am driving and see if it drops when it sputters but if it doesn’t I’m not really sure what to do after that. Any ideas?
