It's an '84 but that's about all that can be said, you have to ID the engine family from other things like # of valve cover bolts, general size, type of intake, where the thermostat housing is, or deck height.
P.S. If this is the motor from your other thread it's definitely a 302 since there were no 289's built after 1969.

Well sometimes you can just enter the number on a google search.
Hey, I just did that and it turns out that e4ae-6015-fa is a 351W engine block. It would have been used from 1984 to some years after. If you post the date code (more numbers above or below the E4AE number) then we can decode the year of your motoer.
