head gasket recomemdation

looks like im headed for a head gasket job. dealer has agreed to any after market parts. arp head studs, but what about the gaskets any recomdations???? not looking to hot rod just looking for reliability and mabe a mild tune. truck is pretty much stock execpt exhaust@guages, thanks for your input, 04 6.0

Stock will do all what you require no trouble.

sounds like all you need is STOCK FORD HG kit... They are said to hold atleast 500hp if the ARP are torqued correctly and the heads are flat. make sure to ask the dealership to check the head flatness or if the heads are cracked. my truck was stock at one time and the HG's blew and both heads were found to be cracked so it does happen. If I'm not mistaken, those are a real PITA to use and have to applied absolutely perfectly or they'll fail. There's been much discussion about the Hypermax gaskets and unless you're planning on more than about 550 horsepower, the stock will do fine.
