i got a feeling that the spread pattern on the bolts may be different-for the hook up to the flexplate/flywheel-maybe post in the transmission threads-they may get ya help faster!
no they are not the FE is different from a smallblock but i beleive the 385 series and the smallblock are the same converter don't know about the M engines i havn't messed with them or the cleveland engines
There are different converters depending on the spline count of the input of the C-6. Need to verify how many splines are on the input (not the fixed stator shaft) so that you get the correct converter. Are you getting a replacement convertor or a convertor with special stall speed?
