Tow Hooks

Well I have tow hooks on my truck, but the front is starting to rust, as the paint was worn away. I was wondering if anyone knows the amount of torque to put on the bolts, as they are pretty heavy duty, but I still dont want to overdo it. I put about 50 ft-lbs of pressure to try and remove them, but they wouldn't budge, and since they are tow hooks and extremely heavy duty looking bolts, I am assuming that they require at least 100 ft-lbs or torque.

Also, I have heard that there is a sensor on the tow hooks when they get hit hard enough to be moved that sets off the airbags, should I be worried about this when I remove them, or was it a load of ?

Found the answer after searching even more, and it turns out it is 65ft-lbs of torque. If I had a torque wrench I would be able to tell how much pressure I am actually applying, because it must not have been that much, but I was pulling pretty hard on the wrench.
